Since 1936, the AAUW-Appleton Branch has been sponsoring a used book sale to raise money for scholarships for women. Half of the money each year goes to the national AAUW organization. The other half of the money is given as scholarships to local women finishing their baccalaureate degrees or pursuing graduate degree programs. We give two scholarships to women finishing their Associates degrees at Fox Valley Technical College.
Besides raising scholarship money, our book sale promotes a vital local community offering
life-long learning, increasing literacy, the recycling of books and other materials, and supports the mission and goals of AAUW.

BOOK SALE UPDATE:
Due to space and storage limitations, we are no longer able to accept any more book donations this year. We very much appreciate all the books that have been donated already for this year’s sale.
If you have books that you were planning to donate, we suggest that you contact St. Vincent de Paul.
We hope to see you on October 17th when we open the doors for our sale!
